As we just returned to New York from the Specialty Food Association Winter Fancy Food, we gather our reflections on the annual event, paramount for representing Italian food excellence internationally.
The Specialty Food Association hosts the Fancy Food Show twice a year. The trade-only event ran Jan. 22-24, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. This year’s event drew an impressive 80,000 food products on display from over 1,400 companies coming from the most different regions of the world. Everyone gathered in San Francisco with the goal of presenting their best representation of the food traditions of their country.
In line with the spirit of the event, the Specialty Food Association is a thriving community of food artisans, importers and entrepreneurs. Since 1952, the not-for-profit association provides its members (both in the U.S. and abroad), with resources, knowledge and connections to champion and nurture their companies in an always-evolving food marketplace.
As proud representatives of the Italian traditional food excellence abroad, our Company supported some Italian brands present, as to advise their communication practices in order to best and most effectively place and/or introduce their products in the constantly-evolving world of culinary delicacies and tastes encompassing the diverse audience of American shoppers.
We will be looking forward to attending the next show, which will take place in New York, June 25-27, 2017. Nothing makes us more proud than assisting emerging (and established) Italian food brands to fully explore their potential in a large market such as the United States.
